Your profile

You are a professional in development sector and dealing with project design, management, fundraising or proposal writing. You know about gender and inclusiveness but would like to make it practical. You strive to overcome resistance in your team and gain confidence to deal with it.

This course is designed and implemented in partnership with Van Hall Larenstein, University for Applied Sciences in Agriculture.

English and French courses run simultaneously in October.

Blended course

In this course, we offer you a blended learning trajectory, combining online learning and face-to-face training. The first 3 weeks, starting on September 25 till October 16, of the course participants learn by distance through the online learning platform. Participants are requested to spend 2-3 hours per week in the online course. The face-to-face part includes 8 days in Ede, the Netherlands.

In the online part, participants work on increasing their theoretical understanding, through reading, practical assignments and reflection on the insights gained.

In the face-to-face part, time is invested in skills development and revision of knowledge on how to do gender responsive programming, through interactive didactics and real life assignments. Main guide for your learning are challenges and opportunities encountered in own professional situation.

Participants are invited to make use of our tailored advice when back in their work and home country.
